Allyson Zazulia is a Professor of Neurology and has served as the Associate Dean for Continuing Medical Education since 2014. She received her MD from Georgetown. She has also completed a research fellowship in Cerebral Blood Flow and Metabolism, studying the pathophysiology of human cerebral circulation.
Zazulia has over 20 years of experience in the field of medical education and has been active in roles catering to the undergraduate level all the way through graduate and continuing medical education for physicians. Her research interests include faculty and medical student attitudes about attendance, physician role in patient satisfaction, impact of just-in-time education in resident education, patient and physician stroke education, video-based learning and coaching in surgical specialties and improving change implementation in continuing education.
