The Comprehensive Stroke Center at Washington University School of Medicine is staffed with medical professionals who can treat many different cerebrovascular diseases. Our team collaborates with other experts in emergency medicine, radiology, interventional neuroradiology, neurosurgery and neurorehabilitation. This ensures that our patients receive comprehensive care from the initial stroke diagnosis throughout their hospitalization and long-term follow-up in our outpatient stroke clinic. We are dedicated to providing patients with evidence-based, specialized, personalized care. 

We are proud to provide the expertise of over 15 stroke specialists to our region, helping to manage over 1500 stroke admissions, 3000 telestroke consultations and 200 mechanical thrombectomies (emergency blood clot retrievals) each year.
