The Vascular Neurology Fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine is ACGME accredited.
Applicants must have completed an ACGME-accredited residency in Adult or Child Neurology, have passed the USMLE Step 3 examination and be board eligible or board certified in adult or pediatric neurology prior to entrance into the program.
We participate in the Electronic Residency Application Service and the National Resident Matching Program for our fellowship positions. Applications are only accepted through ERAS. Please check the ERAS and NRMP websites for all important deadlines related to the application and match process.
A complete application is required and includes:
- Universal ERAS application
- Curriculum vitae generated through ERAS
- At least three letters of recommendation (signed and on official letterhead)
- Personal statement
- Copy of USLME/COMLEX examination score reports for Steps 1, 2 and 3
Personal interviews are required for each candidate in all circumstances. Interviews will be offered to selected candidates after review of the application. Interviews will be held with the program director and selected faculty members.
