Salah Keyrouz is a Professor of Neurology and Neurosurgery. He heads the Neurocritical Care section in the department of Neurology and serves as the Medical Director for Neurocritical Care Unit. He received his M.D. from The Lebanese University, Faculty of Medical Sciences in Beirut, Lebanon. After medical school, he completed a Neurology residency at the University of Arkansas. He then came to Washington University where he completed a Neurocritical Care fellowship. He practices both vascular and critical care neurology and neurosurgery. Dr. Keyrouz’s research interests revolve around intracerebral hemorrhage as well as medical complications in neurocritical care, and the provision of acute stroke care using telemedicine.
