Rami-James Assadi is an Assistant Professor of Neurology and Director of the Comprehensive Outpatient Stroke Clinic for Barnes-Jewish/Washington University. He received his MD from the American University in Beirut. After medical school, he completed a Neurology residency at the University of Minnesota. He then came to Washington University where he completed a Vascular Neurology clinical fellowship.

Assadi is active member of our core telestroke faculty, routinely performing emergent evaluations of patients in smaller hospitals around Missouri and southern Illinois. He sees multiple types of stroke patients in his clinic with a special interest in cerebral venous sinus thrombosis. His research interests focus on how improvement in our systems of care can translate to better patient outcomes.
